Description

Primer for moisture-prone floors, previously coated, grinded or sanded floors, or partially coated floors, or floors that may be porous, have corrosion/spalling, are partially painted, or other issues. Improves adhesion to low quality floors, floors that have ‘dusting’, floors that need porosity evened out, and similar issues. Greatly extends coverage of ArmorClad since once floor is primed, coverage increases due to reduction in absorption of the epoxy. Proprietary 2-part formula bonds tenaciously to virtually all concrete surfaces. Use of Primer extends coverage of ArmorClad by 30-40% since the ArmorClad will bond and ‘sit on’ the primer, instead of partially soaking in when bonding. Coverage 250-350 sq ft/gal. Pre-measured for easy mixing. Available in 2 versions, Low VOC (low odor) for indoor use like basements and such and states that require a lower VOC version (most of the Northeast down to VA, and out to IN, and CA), and solvent based (has odor which dissipates after applied) for coated/partially coated and sealed floors, outdoor use, garages, etc. Note: for oily/greasy floors use our Oil Stop Primer. Works with all ArmorClad epoxy colors and floor systems.
