SPGX Kit contains our famous SPGX ONE-PART (no mixing) polyurea/polyaspartic hybrid coating and contains everything you need to create a FULL BROADCAST (Terrazzo look) fleck-broadcast type floor quickly and easily, often in a single day since the SPGX cures in 2-3 hours to get the final coat on. SPGX has for over twenty years been a top selling coating for customers requiring a fast-drying, extremely chemical and salt-resistant coating that can be applied to virtually any surface with minimal prep.
Non-yellowing formula can be used outdoors (we do though not recommend for continuous sun/outdoor exposure, but ideal for covered patios, carports, porches, steps, etc. that may get sun exposure). SPGX uses the latest chemical cross-linking bonding technology available on the market. Use for years by commercial and military clients, now available in easy kit form for home use. No special skills are require to apply…if you can roll paint on a floor, you can apply SPGX. Easy to install with minimal prep onto absorbent concrete floors with just power washing and light etch (include in kit).

SPGX has a long working time similar to traditional paints, eliminating the concern about short pot life with traditional 100% solid epoxies.
Available in two sizes and includes TWO coats of topcoat which is required on a full broadcast as the first coat of topcoat runs into the millions of nooks and crannies created by the overlapping flecks, and the second coat acts as the sealing topcoat: 300 sq ft (one car garage, contains one gal. tinted base coat, two gal. clear topcoat) and 600 sq ft (2 car garage, contains 2 gals tinted base coat, four gals. clear topcoat). Purchase one of each for three car garages. Please note that when installing a full broadcast before you start topcoating, after you have removed the excess flecks it is necessary to use a flat blade floor scraper or similar tool to scrape the high spots and overlapping edges, and vacuum well before applying any topcoat, otherwise the floor will be rough and have sharp edges from the flecks. Final mil thickness approximately 18-25 mils.

Each kit includes prep/etch solution, mixing bucket, mixing stick, cut-in brush, spike shoes, rubber gloves, rollers, SPGX base coat with tint for base coat, color-coordinated decorative flecks to cover the entire floor in flecks and SPGX clear for topcoating with Armorgrip clear non skid additive. Flecks are standard 1/4″ blend, 1/8″ blend available, call to order. (Note kit photo is representative of SPGX kits, your kit depending on size and such may vary from photo.)
The product does have an odor while curing out.
