Step 1: Safety Precautions

Ensure proper ventilation – when working indoors, open windows and use fans.

Protect surrounding areas – cover nearby metal, plants, and sensitive surfaces to prevent damage from acid exposure.
Step 2: Surface Preparation

Remove all dirt, oil, grease, and loose debris using a degreaser or industrial cleaner.

Scrub with a stiff-bristle brush or use a pressure washer for deep cleaning.

Allow the surface to dry before applying the etching solution.
Step 3: Mixing the Powdered Etch Solution
A: Dilute the Powdered Etch Concentrate:

Mix 1 part ArmorPoxy Powdered Etch Concentrate with 3-4 parts water in a plastic container (never use metal).
