Here’s an overview of how to install the Supra Tiles at home and what maintenance tips we need to consider at the beginning.
Installation Instructions
- Once the tiles have been delivered they should be stored in the area of installation at the temperature between 60 to 70 degrees for a period of 48 hours.
Tools require
- Tools required for installing tiles are Rubber Mallet, Jigsaw, measuring tape, chalk line, gloves, floor brush and Straight Edge or T-Square.
Floor Preparation
- Areas that required should be cleared of all dust dirt and debris.
- Appropriate self-leveling products should be mixed and prepared to use.
- Spread the leveling product on the damaged line or floor until the surface levels.
- Allow the area to dry from moisture content.
Installation Methods
- To begin preparation for laying, you will need to measure the area and insert a chalk marker line.
- Alternatively a straight line tool can be used for the same purpose.
- The tiles are then laid out in stacks to facilitate the covering of the area.
- We recommend open joint tiles to start in the center of the room and using the chalk line work out to meet the walls.
- The tiles are then aligned and using a rubber mallet are interlocked together.
- When fitting up to the walls it will be necessary to measure mark and cut the tiles accordingly to the wall with sharp knife or jigsaw.
Wraps and Edges
- If you want to map out the profile edges and corners, it is also available to utilize at doorways.
Maintenance:
- After installation, clean the tiles with a mop and mild cleaning solution to remove any dust or residue.
- SupraTiles are low-maintenance and can be cleaned regularly with standard cleaning supplies.
