FAQ

Can I apply ArmorRenew on my own?
Yes, but be sure to follow our application instructions sheet listed above under "Tech Data." Each type of wood has a different preparation method and removing old paint from any surface may release lead paint dust.
How many feet does this ArmorRenew set cover?
The one-gallon primer covers 400-450 square feet, while the five-gallon primer covers 2,000 to 2,250 square feet.
How should I apply my ArmorRenew product?
Only one thick coat of ArmorRenew primer is required. Make sure to stir the material throughout use, and apply with a 3/8" nap roller, a short nap stain pad, or a synthetic paint brush.
How long should I wait for my primer to dry?
The primer dries to the touch in 30 minutes, and a new coat can be applied in an hour, depending on the outside temperature. A full cure takes about 7 days.
