SUPERCHARGED, NANOTECHNOLOGY, SOLVENT-BASED 100% ACTIVES STAIN RESISTANT WATER, SALT, & OIL REPELLENT PENETRATING SEALER WITH TEFLON

A new supercharged, nanotechnology driven 100% actives clear breathable, deep penetrating solvent-based water salt & oil repellent sealer that provides exceptional oil and stain resistance. Siloxa-Tek® 8510 is a deep penetrating water & oil repellent that protects against water-soluble deleterious materials, oily substances and freeze/thaw cycles. With it’s long-established hydrophobic agents, oleophobic fluorocarbons and through the latest advances in nanotechnology, its intelligent nano particles provide an extra layer of protection. Once applied the change of the surface tension creates a surface environment that is hydrophobic forming an effective shield that aides in a dramatic reduction of chloride ion ingress (salt intrusion). The proprietary fluorocarbon concurrently resists oil absorption and surface staining from motor oils, grease and other oil-based contaminants, forming a clear protective barrier that leaves the concretes appearance completely natural. Applies with garden type sprayer (make sure to use sprayer that is designed for solvents or chemicals).

Coverage 300 sq ft /gal/coat. TWO COATS REQUIRED FOR MOST APPLICATIONS. A SINGLE FLOOD COAT CAN BE USED BUT ONLY ON SMOOTH/INDOOR CONCRETE OVER A FLOOR THAT MUST HAVE THE GHOSTSHIELD 4500 DENSIFIER APPLIED PREVIOUSLY PER INSTRUCTIONS. For rougher indoor concrete such as broom finish, spalled or textured concrete, use two coats of 8510.

What is the difference between the Ghostshield 8505 and 8510?
Both sealers offer deicing salt protection, freeze-thaw protection and resistance to oils and staining. The difference lies in their composition, where Siloxa-Tek 8505 is water based and the Siloxa-Tek 8510 is solvent based. Since the 8510 is solvent-based, it can handle additional fluorocarbon strength than the 8505, and it thus offers superior oil-resistance. In other words, the 8510 is really the 8505 on steroids!
What does Ghostshield look like?
Once dry, Ghostshield will not alter the appearance or color of your surface, it’s virtually invisible once applied!
How should I apply my Ghostshield 8510 sealer?
Two coats are required for most applications. A single coat can be used, but only on smooth, indoor concrete floors where the Ghostshield 4500 densifier was previously applied.
How many feet does the Ghostshield 8510 sealer cover?
This product covers 300 square feet per gallon, which is 1,500 square feet for the 5-gallon kit.
